EPL Cleanest and Dirtiest Tacklers, Ranked

When a player comes in for a tackle, there are a number of possible results:  a tackle is won, a tackle is lost (attacker retains possession), or a foul is committed.  Of course, it is possible that a tackle might be attempted and may not be won/lost or a foul committed.  It is difficult to track and categorize these events, but Opta does as good as they can given the subjective nature of measuring these things.  By looking at the relationship between some of these metrics - specifically tackles won and fouls committed - can we learn something about a player's defensive style?  I think so.  One thing to note is that the fouls committed are not necessarily from a player attempting a tackle and are not necessarily a bad thing (tactical fouls can be very useful).

Here are the EPL's cleanest tacklers (exc. forwards), ranked

And here are the "dirtiest" tacklers
